The Skating Club
of Wilmington |
|
has
been teaching the community to skate since 1965.
Our programs encourage a true love of the sport,
from Beginner to Advanced; Recreational to
Competitive. We offer skating lessons from
Preschool to Adult by accomplished professional
coaches with excellent Learn-to-Skate Lessons,
private Figure Skating Lessons, Synchronized
Skating Teams for adults and children, and
instructional Ice Hockey programs to help
you join a team. All these programs are offered
to the public and club membership is not
required although we recommend it if you want
less crowded ice times, more skating sessions
and discounted session rates. |

the fund raiser is Raise the Roof! Our

publicity for the event
5. Coordinate
ticket sales
6. Create
the written program for the event

Did you know?
Many events and services at SCW do NOT require
SCW membership, such as ballet classes, off-ice
conditioning, birthday parties, USFSA tests,
competitions, public skating, group lessons, ice
skating exhibitions, use of the snack bar, skate
sharpening and mounting, skate shop purchases,
ice shows, and even Programmed Dance sessions!

Please drive slowly as you approach or leave the
Club's parking lot. Many children use our
facility! One-fifth of all children 14 years of
age and younger who die in motor vehicle crashes
are pedestrians. Don't forget
that the speed limit on Carruthers Lane, West
Park and East Park Drives is
25 MPH!

For your own safety, please make sure that you
leave nothing in plain sight inside your car,
particularly in the evening hours. All valuables
should be carried with you or locked in your
trunk.

SCW Webmaster suggests using Microsoft Internet
Explorer 7 or Mozilla Firefox for Internet
browsers, AVG Anti-Spyware and Anti-Virus,
Comodo Firewall & Anti-Virus, and Adobe Reader
to read PDF files. All programs are
available free. Click on the logos shown
below to download. Any programs that you
download are at your own risk. Please note SCW's
disclaimer.
